Absences/Tardies/Truancy

9:15 AM: Doors Open (students will not be let in any earlier)
9:30 AM: Class starts

*Students are considered tardy if they arrive after 9:30 AM. Please check in the main office for a tardy pass.

If your child will not be in school, you must excuse their absence.

There are 3 ways you can report your child's absence:

• Student's Name
• Grade/Teacher's Name
• Date of Birth
• Reason for Absence (ex: sick, doctor's appointment)

3. Report absence through Infinite Campus Parent Portal: Parent Absence Request

IT’S STATE LAW:

• Illness
• Doctor’s appointments
• Religious holidays
• Extreme family emergency (for example, death in family, house fire, etc.)

• Staying home to babysit
• Overslept
• Missed the bus
• Needed at home
• Excessive absences for being sick without a doctor’s verification
• Too cold outside.
