Child Care Before and After School

A.C.E.S.

Athletes Committed to Educating Students (ACES) programming will provide opportunities for students in grades K-8 to build math and social-emotional skills through ACES’ unique sports-based curriculum. Please stop by their tables during Open House for more information.

  • Program Start Date: Monday, September 8th (the second week of school)

  • Grades Served: Kindergarten through 8th grade

  • Program Hours: Doors open at 7:30 AM, with programming starting at 8:00 AM

 

Enrollment Details: We are now accepting online registrations for the 2025–26 school year.

Please note:

 

  • Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Priority enrollment for our K–3 program will be given to students who have siblings in grades 4–8. Bussing is provided for K-4th grade from Upper Campus to Lower Campus before school starts.

  • Submitting a registration form does not guarantee enrollment. You will receive a confirmation email from me once your child’s enrollment status is determined.

  • Once our classrooms are full, we will begin a waitlist.

DISCOVERY CLUB

Discovery Club is a fun and nurturing childcare program for students in grades PreK-5 that supports learning and development before* and after school, on non-school days and during the summer. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. For a list of fees, locations, and to register or join the waitlist, visit spps.org/discoveryclub or call 651-632-3793. *Before school care is unavailable for schools with a 7:30 a.m. start time.

COMMUNITY KIDS

Community Kids is a free afterschool and summer program offered by Keystone Community Services for students in grades K–10 at the West 7th Community Center. As Keystone’s longest-running youth program, Community Kids provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where students can build academic skills, explore new interests, and grow socially and emotionally. During the school year, the program runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 6:00 PM, and during the summer from 12:00 to 6:00 PM. Activities include academic support, hands-on enrichment in arts and STEM, leadership opportunities, social-emotional learning, and field trips. Free transportation is available for eligible families.
