Our Principal

Hello Global Arts Plus Lower Family,

I am excited to be serving as the Principal of Global Arts Plus - Lower Campus. (GAP-L) I am from St. Louis, Missouri. We relocated to Minnesota because my husband received a promotion on his job. I am settling in quite nicely and I look forward to continuing in the work I love. My educational experience spans from 10 years of elementary teaching,  2 years as an instructional coach, 3 years as an Assistant Principal and 2 years as a Principal. I am pleased to be starting year 18, as the Principal of GAP-L.  

I am a continuous learner who strives to make a difference in the lives of others. Each day I will lead with intentionality. I look forward to connecting and partnering together to ensure success for all students. Your children are our number one priority. 

At GAP-L, all kids are our kids. We celebrate and embrace diversity. We know representation matters and we want to make sure all of our students feel welcomed, seen and heard daily.  I will continue to ensure equitable practices are in place to meet the needs of all scholars. 

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, karaoke, roller skating and spending quality time with the ones I love. I am a servant leader at heart and I will always do what is best for our scholars.
